Studies of ionizing radiation influence in doses 2.0 and 6.0 Gy on morphofunctional state of pituitary-gonadal system of matured females rats were conducted in dynamics (7, 14, 30 days). Morphofunctional changes in hormonproducing ovary and adenopituitary cells after total single irradiation of females rats in doses 2.0 and 6.0 Gy in remote period of observation (90 days) were found. Influence of ionizing radiation on ovaries showed itself to be doses dependent indecrease of the primary follicules quantity, in early degenerative changes of sex syncitium, in follicules ripening kinetics of different stages changes. Simultaneously with proliferation processes intensification apoptosis and distrophic epithelium changes were stirred up. These changes were found in the places of disturbed microcirculatory blood flow. Obtained results evidence changes in pituitary-gonadal system of animals in the described conditions of irradiation, wheach lead to disturbances of hormonal regulation.

Key words: ionizing radiation, females rats, adenopituitary, ovaries.
